Chiropractic Care

patient getting neck adjustmentAs a chiropractor, Dr. Tyler is expert in the spine. By listening to your story and performing a thorough neuromusculoskeletal examination, he provides clear and honest information about what is going on with your body. Dr. Tyler will then advise you on the best treatment options, discussing the benefits of chiropractic manipulation.

Chiropractic manipulation is often misrepresented and can be portrayed as something that it is not. Simply, chiropractic manipulation or an “adjustment” is when a provider evaluates the joints of the body to investigate if there is a lack of motion in a region. By applying a quick, small thrust to the region, the manipulation attempts to create a small amount of movement in the region, decreasing pain, and allowing for a greater pain-free range of motion.

The many conditions that we often see include

  • Back pain
  • Neck pain
  • Headaches
  • Shoulder problems
  • Herniated or slipped discs
  • Sciatic pain
  • Numbness in the hands and feet
  • Carpal tunnel syndrome
  • Hip pain

There are numerous chiropractic techniques that our chiropractors use. These include Diversified, Thompson, trigger point therapy, Cox Flexion-Distraction and Activator®. You’ll have the adjustment explained to you before beginning. We’ll make sure that you know what to expect and how you’ll feel.

Any pain you’re in is addressed starting from your first visit with us. Each adjustment builds on the next, similar to having braces put on your teeth and shifts occurring over time. As you begin feeling better, we’ll decrease the frequency of your visits. When you’re free from discomfort, we’ll discuss what continuing chiropractic care can do for you.

Improve your circulation, relax your muscles and calm your nervous system with massage therapy. Our two massage therapists can provide relaxation or therapeutic massage depending on your needs. You can book for 30-, 60- or 90-minute sessions.

This form of therapy involves lying on a comfortable table and letting it do the work for you. It’s used for neck and lower back problems, arthritis in the spine or disc conditions like herniated discs.
